Training Courses for Experts in Hong Kong
TAE runs a programme of training courses for Expert Witnesses twice a year in Hong Kong, in March and November. Satisfactory attendance at these courses is taken into account when assessing membership applications.
Expert Witnesses in the public and private sector are coming under increasing pressure: clients expect more, the media’s watchful eye finds more to reveal. Newspapers, professional journals and news programmes appear to find the exploits of Experts to be irresistible. Increasingly judicial comment and individual criticism by judges is drawing an unwelcome spotlight onto the Expert.
Our courses are attended by a wide variety of professions from the public and private sectors. The list of the professions we have taught is extensive and has included:

Dates & Costs
Courses start at 9.15am and conclude at around 4.45pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
There are two costs shown below for each course. These are the TAE member rate and non-member rate. TAE Member rates are also available to members of supporting organisations - see below for registration forms for supporting organisations.
