Registered RICS Expert Witness and Chair of the RICS Expert Witness Registration Scheme Panel of Assessors. Member of the RICS Dispute Resolution Working Group. Previous Member of The Academy of Experts Executive Committee and Governing Council.
Experienced in the procurement process, building construction, compliance with contracts and leases, building failures, repairs and improvements, quality of work undertaken and associated professional performance in connection, dilapidations and party wall matters.
I provide consultancy advice and for nearly 20 years I have acted as both expert advisor and expert witness. I have worked in the residential and commercial markets on a range of construction, building, property and professional performance disputes from £50,000.00 - £100,000,000.00 in value. My geographical work area to date has been throughout the South of England, London, the Midlands and Southern Ireland.
Clients include individuals, SMEs, partnerships, major and international companies, charities, housing associations and local authorities. Instructions are usually received from local, regional and national firms of solicitors.
I am thorough, competent and direct. I am told that I explain complex matters clearly and by doing so, I assist those instructing me and of course, ultimately, the Court.
